MR Tushar: Bangladesh’s first formula racer from a madrasa student!

Those who are interested in car racing must know more or less about Formula One racing. And those who do not know, they’ve seen four-wheeled storms on the back-to-back racing tracks at various sports channels. Formula racers like Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, one of the legends of the racing track. Racing tracks with racing cars of famous brands like Ferrari, Mercedes!

Have you ever wondered which Bangladeshi racer can take a speed storm in the same way that all the legendary racers show speed games on the racing track? Yes, it is surprising but true that young Mahfuzur Rahman TUSHAR of Bangladesh has written his name along with other racers of the world about racing cars on Formula Racing track.

In 2013, TUSHAR officially entered the Formula Racing competition and became the first Bangladeshi to participate in any Formula Racing competition. TUSHAR participated in the Formula Four Racing Competition held in India under the auspices of Shah Cement.

Tushar’s interest in speed is reflected in his words. He said

“There is a thing in speed. Put a speedometer in front of the eyes of those who love speed. You will see that he has become restless. Only one word will play in their heads; They will be overwhelmed by the desire to expand their borders.”

That is to say, TUSHAR is not very restless. He is a very calm young man. He feels this thrill just sitting in front of the speedometer of the car. According to him, it is not a bad thing. This thrilling feeling is quite enjoyable and very natural to TUSHAR!

Inspiration to be a racer

The story of becoming TUSHAR a Formula Racer is not as simple as the way a racer becomes a Formula Racer. Formula racers begin to become racers at an early age. There are many racers who join the process of becoming a racer between the ages of 6-10. They became a full-fledged racer after years of hard work.

But that’s not the story of becoming Formula Racer of Tushar! He did not become a racer by tradition. His motivation to be a racer was different.

He was a madrasa student before studying at the university. He did not have as many opportunities as all the other students. But after getting up in the university, he was admitted to the subject of automobile engineering. From then on the interest and love for cars started.

While studying at the university, his brother became interested in his car. So his brother used to give him various automobile magazines from home and abroad. These magazines continue to show TUSHAR the dream of gradually becoming a racer.

In 2004, when he saw a magazine like this, his eyes got stuck in an article. World Cyber Games Virtual Racing Championship to be held in Dhaka! Since he lived in a university hall, it was not possible for him to take part in this virtual racing competition.

But as soon as he left the hall, he took part in the next virtual racing competition. He was eliminated from the very first round of this competition. His classmates and participants also joked about this defeat. But he could not accept his rate at all.

TUSHAR said, ‘That day I decided that one day I would win the real race!’

And this is how a madrasa student got the right inspiration and started moving towards the fast-paced life of Formula Racing. Many madrassa students look down on them, but TUSHAR has proven that with the right opportunities and direction, they too can keep pace with the world.

Journey to victory

The path to becoming a racer for TUSHAR was not smooth. In the following years, TUSHAR gradually developed into a racer.

With the dream of becoming a racer, TUSHAR then started participating in go-kart racing competitions held in the Fantasy Kingdom. Since there was not enough and convenient place for racing in our country, TUSHAR had nothing more to do with it.

This racing in the Fantasy Kingdom though is just a part of the entertainment for the people. But to me, that was the first step to becoming a Formula Racer. So I kept trying to do what I could.

He took part in this racing competition for the first time and took 3rd place. Although he had no previous experience or practice.

It was then that Tushar’s parents learned about Tushar’s dream of becoming a racer. Being a racer is not just Tushar’s dream, it is the place of his passion.

Then one day he suddenly came to know about ‘Federation Motor Sports Club India’ in India, where emerging racers are trained. He sent a message to the club shortly after learning of the news. In a very crazy way, he wrote to the club to get an idea of his madness and dreams.

Fortunately, Tushar’s madness was at work. He received a letter from the chief executive of the Indian club. The letter stated that the training session for the new racers would begin in the next couple of months.

There was a way to learn racing. But he also had to get permission from his parents to go to India.

TUSHAR said,

My parents knew I had the madness of racing. Since racing has to involve speed and accidents, my parents were initially worried about my going to India. But I thought it was safer for me to go to India to learn racing than to go racing in Bangladesh.

Becoming Tushar a Formula Racer

After joining a racing training club in India, the club’s chief executive advised TUSHAR to start racing like a Formula Four racer.

The most basic level of Formula Racing in Formula Four. Starting from Formula Four upwards, Formula One is the highest level. From a Formula Four racer to becoming a Formula One racer, it can sometimes take up to 10 years.

Not just time. This program requires a lot of money to train and play racing. It takes a car. Takes equipment. TUSHAR’S family could not afford to buy so much. So he started racing from the basic level. His goal was to achieve success at this basic level, then maybe everyone will notice. Which will help him go to the next level.

But Tushar’s dream started to come true in 2012 after many pastures and descents. His plan came to fruition. Starting as the 22nd racer, he moved to the 15th position with one push. In this racing competition in India, he was introduced as ‘Bangladeshi Narayan Karthikeyan’. Narayan Karthikeyan was a legendary Formula One racer in India.

With this unimaginable acquaintance and success, he returned to the country. Gathered sponsorship with a lot of effort. And with sponsorship, he went back to India to continue racing. The following year, he also raced the Indian racing track with the Bangladeshi flag.

Dreams of the future and the path of dreams

There are many obstacles in the way of fulfilling any dream. TUSHAR only had to cross the border into India for racing training. In order to make racing sports popular in our country, it is necessary to have a big racing track as well as cultural acceptance.

TUSHAR is also quite optimistic and worried about today’s young society. These cars and racing lovers are racing on the streets of Dhaka city. However, they are not able to move towards racing sports properly because there is no such facility in our country. he had no training.

TUSHAR’S dream He will build a racing track for the youth of this country. He took this as his first formula behind starting and popularizing formula racing in our country. And he is working to make that dream a reality.

Since TUSHAR fell far behind the time he was supposed to start his racing profession as a racer and started racing late. So he is quite concerned about the next generation. He wants young people who dream like him not to fall behind like him.

Although TUSHAR still has a lot more races to win. On the way to victory, he is moving forward in the face of many obstacles. So that he can better establish his name on the racing track.

At present formula racing is not limited to just video games. It is now beginning to take shape in the passion of the youth. Many are now dreaming of becoming a Formula Racer with the desire to make the impossible possible.

And so TUSHAR still sits in front of his car’s speedometer, bewildered by the dream of taking his resolve farther.
